HOW TO GET YOUR CHILD TO FACE THEIR FEAR WHILE UNDERSTANDING HOW BASELESS IT IS

Kitten Trouble by Bijal Vachharajani and illustrated by Rajiv Eipe

Being a mom is hard especially when your child is going through that phase where they they are afraid of everything including their own shadow! It can be so frustrating because you can't belittle their fear and they need your around wherever they go because they are so darn scared of everything! What is a mom on her last dreg of patience to do? 🤷

Kitten Trouble, the latest #hookbooks to the rescue! Gurgles (5) read this once, twice, three times and then brought it to me and asked me to read it to him so we could both laugh together! The story is about a little girl afraid of an itty-bitty kitty and how she suddenly realises she isn't scared of kitty one fine day. Though Gurgles isn't scared of cats (phew!) This book showed him it's absolutely fine to wake up one morning and NOT be scared of your biggest, greatest fear! Simple and genius!

We love @bijalvv books in mi casa and this one has become a fast favourite! Her story is simple, relatable, and packs a punch. @rajiveipe's illustrations are gorgeous and play a huge role in making the reader relate to the child and even empathise with the cat! Oh! Those beautiful large eyes!

We have been spending our week with @penguinsters #hookbooks and what better way to spend the last few days of summer vacay?
