True Or Poo, by Nick Caruso and Dani Rabiotti
We were given this book during a recent book exchange by @sue9a and all she said was, Gurgles (5) will enjoy it. Boy, was she bang on the money!
It has been a week and Gurgles hasn't put this book down. He has read it, re-read it and read it yet again! The killer combination of poo jokes, adorable illustrations, and animal facts seems to be something irresistable for him. This book is a collection of animal faeces facts that are super interesting for early level readers. They love to go around showing off their knowledge and grossing people around them with animal facts and fakes! I picked up the book to see what the fuss was about and you really get sucked right in!
I have been using this book as a segue to conversations about animals we often don't talk about -- vultures, vampire bats, camels and more. This one is a complete winner and don't be surprised if your child loves this book and asks for 'Does it Fart?' another gem in this series!
