As of today, Giggles (8) and Gurgles (4) have been at home for six months and counting. This means they haven't stepped out of the building gates and while they have been such troopers since the beginning of the lockdown, I can see they are showing signs of frustration. Today was one of those days when the S*** really hit the fan and we were all counting down to bedtime.
Pooh stories have a way of eliciting giggles and dispelling all the bad vibes. I mean, one look at the roly-poly adorable bear and you can't help but feel cheerful.
This book is one from our collection of Pooh books and tells you a funny story of how Pooh has to skip breakfast since he missed sleeping at night. How does one wake up to have breakfast when you don't sleep in the first place?
These books are perfect for bedtime is just when you want to snuggle up for a story with your child. Though it may be slightly tough and long for early readers to read on their own, it is perfect for a good read-aloud! Add to it all the characters they know and love and you have a winner!
