HOW TO ENCOURAGE READING USING YOUR CHILD'S OBSESSION

THOMAS AND FRIENDS STORY LIBRARY

When Giggles (8) was younger, he was obsessed with that adorable blue engine, Thomas. We owned those little collectibles, watched the animated series, have a stuffed Thomas toy -- I mean the works! So when it came time to read we stumbled upon these little square books at a local book fair and we couldn't help but fall head over heels in love with them! Giggles first bought a few and learnt to read them until he knew the stories by heart.
Since we knew all the characters in the series he began to get obsessed with owning them all and we are slowly getting there! We have 42 books currently!

The pictures and words are very easy to read and engaging for young readers. I feel each story has a tiny moral attached to it and teaches kids about team work, friendship, hardwork, and other such important life lessons only a blue engine and his friends can teach our kids.

The books will keep them coming back because the stories are interesting and tie into the animated series. Characters like the Fat Controller have their own story too! Gurgles (4) has inherited these books and true to form wants to keep the collection growing! Anyone else obsessed with these books?
